Where could one find good pictures of angels? Well, I'm interested in trying to re-create some of the angels that the old masters painted. Like the angel Gabriel in the old style. You know, guardian angels and dark angels, but I have no clue as to where to find images for referance. Help?

I hear Gainax once sold a line of T-Shirts with pictures of girl versions of the Evangelion Angels. Pictures? Not sure if its a rumor or not. But I heard Gainax once sold a line of T-Shirts featuring all the Angels in Evangelion and depicted them as cute girls somehow.... I'd like to see what they would all look like. He was also wearing sandals, and in one of his hands was a sword and in the other hand was a orb. The cloak he was wearing covered his head but his eyes were barely visible and the look on his face was a man determined. Are Angels as we know them actually Divine Extraterrestrials? ? This thought sprung up into my mind the other day when I was just thinking about the 'whole big picture'. Angels, as we're told, come down from the Heavens to help us humans regain the well-being and goodness in our world. Truth be told, that kinda sounds like the work of some kind-hearted extraterrestrials out there that did in fact come down to help our planet evolve and prosper. I did some research on this little theory of mine and came across many historical and informational accounts of an extraterrestrial race called the Pleiadians, who are divine beings that look over many lifeforms through-out the universe. Doesn't this sound a bit like our conception of Angel's? I'm not trying to trash down religion or Christianity in any way, in fact, I think this theory of mine enlightens me in the ways of Christianity, even though I am not a Christian. Could I possibly be right though? Could our Divine Guardians actually be aliens from Outer Space? And to clear up any confusion, I do entirely believe in the existence of Angels either way, and God for that matter, but I do not believe God is only of the Christian religion, but God is of every religion, of unity, if that makes any sense. I also believe that God is in no-way a concrete object, nor is God a man or a woman, so therefore should not be called "He" or "She" as some religions insist. God is genderless. God is unity, and God is the purest form light we know, yet God cannot be seen. Anywhoo...enough with my spiritual ramblings! lol

Do you think angels wear white or black robes? This was a question asked by my nephew's high school teacher. When the class said, they picture angels in white, she called them racist. What???? She then went on to lecture them on how it is just wrong to assume that white is good and black is bad. This has gone TOO FAR! In the old west the good guy wore a white hat. Were they racist? Why do some people depict angels looking like women in their pictures? From what I understand, there's no such thing. The angels in heaven left so they could be with the women on earth, which means that there weren't any woman angels in heaven. So why do people draw them now a days?
