If you are sick ....What would you consider to be healing or comforting colors or images?
For example some people say that the color green is a healing color. What are some other colors that you would consider soothing for a calander or planner and what are some images that are soothing to look at? For example angels or hearts or rainbows or animals? I am trying to make my own calander for an aunt who has cancer and I'm trying to make it be pleasing relaxing colors with some comforting clip art or corner borders and symbols through out the book? Thanks for ideas.

- I can not speak for everyone, but myself suffering from cancer, I find that pastel colors, light blue and such are very relaxing. For relaxing pictures anything to do with nature, a field of grass with a rainbow over it, or a waterfall scene with wild deer at waters edge. My deceased sister liked angels, holding kittens and puppies.
- Yes...green is a healing color, also colors that calm would also help. Pink is a good color to use (Some prisons paint their walls pink because it tends to calm prisoners). I love blue, and purple. I stay away from red, orange, and yellow. I like the sea colors too. Calendars with what your aunt likes would help too. Let's say she loves dogs or cats, then have them in your calendar. It would make her happy. But what will make her very happy is that you cared enough to give her something that you made. My wife is going through breast cancer. Her girlfriends made her a quilt. On the quilt they wrote words like, Love, health, healing, hope, and it means so much to her and myself. Just having it on the bed seems to calm us and takes away some of our fears. I am sure your calendar will make mom forget and that is worth it, and she will be happy whenever she looks at it. Great Job!
