Is Criss Angel a magic icon?

I have to write a paper comparing two icons. And was thinking about Houdini and Criss Angel

3. Houdini, most deffinately. But somehow I would disagree about Criss Angel. I like his early work, but think his newer work is to 'obvious' in a sense. But my opinion doesnt really matter/ How about comparing Houdini, to somoeone who does a completely diffirent kind of 'magic' such as Derren Brown, his work is based on psychology, and has mentioned some very interesting names in his list of influences and research. I mean, Angel has work based on Houdini, and I think if your comparing two 'icons' perhaps it would be nice to have two diffirent kinds of acts... although, if you do decide to go with Angel, writing about that influence could be equally as interesting. Good luck anyway, magic is a very interesting subject :)
4. I think both of them are icons. Though Houdini is more of a magic legend...I'm sure all magicians look up to or are inspired by him.
